Blog

News acts almost like a Blog... actually, it practically is a blog. The main News page offers a "Quick Spot" to view snippets of your latest news articles (you set how many you want to display here). The 'news details' page is a full story view which is created the same way you create a basic content page. However there are Quick Links that allow you to easily jump from one news article to the next from the detail view. News archiving is available as well.

The Core

Semantic Markup Language

Semantic Markup helps keep the pages small and code clean. Search engines and users love this. Faster page loads and spider crawls play a major role in technical and user interaction. Also by using this markup language the code base will not degrade or become obsolete any time in the near future. Stability and continuity across different Operating Systems and Web Browsers is a key element to a successful internet presence. No matter how small a percentage of your users are, for example, MAC OS using Safari (1-2%), you still don't want to lose them as a customer. We understand this, and our SIMPLE CMS is tested on all current and previous operating systems and browsers from Windows XP home with Internet explorer 5.5 to MAC OSX with Firefox 2 or Windows Vista with Internet Explorer 7 to Mac OSX with Safari.

The SIMPLE Administration Panel for our clients is built with the same standards as the user interface: SIMPLE, clean, fast, and did we mention SIMPLE. Manage every aspect of your site from an easy to use control panel that is well documented and user friendly without fear of being lost in the many technical layers required when building a site from scratch. Just fill in the forms and press "submit"!

If you are looking for a blogging system (blogging pre-installed) or a gallery to append to the SIMPLE CMS, check out our SIMPLE Plug ins (coming soon).

Total Search Engine Compliance

This feature is crucial to many aspects of your web site. Organic Search is Free, so why not take advantage of that. Sure, Pay-Per-Click programs will get your site seen, but why spend thousands of dollars on advertising if you don't need too? Our SIMPLE CMS is guaranteed to be 100% indexed in Search Engines. Alt, Title, Meta tags, Mod Rewrite URLs, Semantic (CSS) markup language, and much more help you get closer to being in the top 10 for your keywords.

Mod Rewrite Engine

This Mod Rewrite feature is critical to being fully indexed in search engines and, believe it or not, many content management systems out there still use Query String URLs. Let us clarify: A Query String looks like:
www.mysite.com/index.php?cat=movies&pname=movie-title

Mod Rewrite translates that into a search engine friendly URL like:
www.mysite.com/movies/movie-title/

Search engines, by default, associate movie-title/ to movie-title/index.html. Basically, even though there really isn't a folder called "movies" with a sub folder "movie-title" with a file in that is named "index.html", the spider is none the wiser, and indexes your dynamically generated page as if it were. Unbelievable!!!
